Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the leader of the main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP), has vowed to work to end polarization in the country.

Women in Turkey, who got the right to vote and be elected in 1934 before many European countries, celebrated the 87th anniversary of getting full suffrage on Dec. 5.

It is futile and baseless to launch a discussion about the election rule of 50 percent plus one vote for electing the president, the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader has said, reiterating its loyalty to the People's Alliance with the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP).
