Swift found on land in central Turkish province
Locals in the Turkish province of Sivas have found a rare and unique swift, arousing curiosity in the Central Anatolian province where the swift is seen as a mystical creature.
The swift spends almost its whole life flying and is rarely seen on the ground. However, local man Sami Gül saw the bird in the yard of Sivas' Gaziosmanpaşa Mosque.

A Turkish reporter for the state-run Turkish Radio and Television Channel (TRT) has proposed to a young woman at Mecca's Kaabah, the holiest mosque in Islam, in Saudi Arabia.
Yusuf Akyön, the son of Turkish press attaché to Jeddah Bahattin Akyön, recorded a video while proposing to a girl at the holy site during an Umrah visit.

Turkish President Erdoğan pays Umrah visit in Saudi Arabia
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan conducted the Umrah while in Saudi Arabia on Feb. 15, state-run Anadolu Agency has reported.
Erdoğan visited the al-Masjid an-Nabawi, a religious site that includes Prophet Muhammad's grave in Medina.
Erdoğan subsequently traveled to Mecca, where he visited the Masjid al-Haram late on Feb. 15.

Mecca's disasters and Muslims' responsibility
Two days ago, yet another horrible disaster took place in Mecca, near Islam?s holiest shrine, the Kaaba, and during the holy week of the hajj, the pilgrimage. An astonishing number of 753 pilgrims were killed in a stampede that took place near the point where the devil is ritually stoned. At least some 800 pilgrims were also reportedly injured.

Saudi Arabia Opens Probe into Deadly Mecca Crane Collapse
Saudi Arabia has opened an investigation into the causes for the accident in Mecca, in which at least 107 people were killed when a construction crane crashed into the Grand Mosque, the BBC reported on Saturday.
