Russia has issued a stern warning in response to Bulgaria's recent legislative efforts aimed at seizing Russian real estate. Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Nail Mukhitov, declared in an interview with TASS that Russia will not tolerate such actions and vows to respond.

A proposed bill by Bulgarian MPs Ivaylo Mirchev and Nadezhda Yordanova, representing the political party "We Continue the Change-Democratic Bulgaria" (WCC-DB), seeks to freeze Russian properties owned by sanctioned individuals.

The "Yuri Gagarin" private school in the Bulgarian resort Kamchia, which is part of the largest children's camp outside the Russian Federation and owned by the Moscow City Hall, is closing its doors. The labor inspectorate in Varna has already received an application for the layoff of more than 30 people - teachers and employees.

Diving teams are renewing the search for the two children from the villages of Vezenkovo and Podvis, who drowned in the "Kamchia" dam.

The bodies of the two girls, aged 9 and 14, were not found yesterday.

A protest entitled "Hands off Bulgarian nature" has gathered dozens of environmentalists in front of the Council of Ministers in the capital Sofia. The specific reason for the public dissatisfaction is the lifting of the ban on construction in the Kamchia protected area on the Black Sea coast.

Depending on the level of pollution, the beaches are categorized as poor, satisfactory, good and excellent. This year, 13 beaches along the native Black Sea coast can boast the international blue flag "eco-certificate". By comparison, they are 519 in Greece.

The beach ''Kamchia'', also known as the Beach of Death, will remain without a lifeguard for another year, Telegraph writes.

The sea water on all beaches in Varna is clean, the latest analysis of the Regional Health Inspection in the city shows. Samples had been taken from 23 bathing areas in Varna region. The water quality is within the required standards at the "Officer's Beach", for which there was a temporary swimming ban last year.

Bulgaria's Government can provide each of Russia's regions with land and construction permits to build resorts for their own use, said deputy economy minister Branimir Botev.
