Stefan Stefanov Became the Second Bulgarian Who Climbed K2

The second Bulgarian climb of K2 is already a fact! At 7:53 am this morning Stefan Stefanov was on the eighth place as part of an international expedition.

10 mountaineers, 6 Nepalese Sherpas and 3 from Pakistan participate in it. 

On May 15 he climbed the third highest peak in the world -Kanchenjunga, and last year the Bulgarian looked at the world and from Everest.

Two Greeks head to Nepal to tackle world's eighth highest peak

Veteran climbers Antonis Sykaris and Giorgos Marinos are set to become the first Greeks to scale the world's eighth-highest peak, flying off to Kathmandu late on Monday night.

Standing at an altitude of 8,163 meters above sea level, Mount Manaslu is located in the Nepalese Himalayas and the mission of the two Greeks is expected to take roughly a month-and-a-half.

Eight Bulgarian climbers stayed forever in the Himalayan snow embrace.

The "Snow House" is a mountain range that separates the Indo-Ganges Plain from the Tibet Plateau. It has sheltered nine of the highest peaks on the ground (out of 10), and the one with the highest altitude - Everest.

Bulgarian Mountaineer Boyan Petrov Climbs Kangchenjunga Summit

Bulgarian mountaineer Boyan Petrov climbed the third highest peak in the world – Kangchenjunga, reported Bulgarian-language media. 

According to Dnevnik.bg, Petrov reached the summit, which is 8598 meters high, in the afternoon of May 20 and became the first Bulgarian to climb it.
