Abu Dhabi’s IHC takes 50 pct stake in Kalyon Enerji

International Holding Company (IHC), the diversified Abu Dhabi-based conglomerate, has announced the acquisition of a 50 percent stake in Turkish clean energy firm Kalyon Enerji for AED 1.8 billion (around $490 million) through its subsidiary International Energy Holding.

Kalyon Enerji is owned by Kalyon Holding, which operates in the construction, energy and aviation industries.

At least 34 irregular migrants caught across country

At least 34 irregular migrants have been apprehended during security checks and operations conducted in Turkish provinces, security sources said.

Turkey to hold tender for 1,000-megawatt wind power plant in July

Turkey has launched a process to hold a tender for a 1,000-megawatt (MW) capacity wind power plant at the end of July.

Details of the planned tender were revealed in the Official Gazette on April 13. 

The initial ceiling price was set at $7 per kWh and the electricity purchase date was designated as 15 years.
