Unknown Attacks Bank in Austria

An unknown person attacked a bank in the Austrian city Erpfendorf, Tirol, he might have taken hostages inside, reported BGNES, announced from APA Agency.

The bank region is isolated, at the place are working police special forces and the emergency services of the city.

Still it is not clear how many clients and bank officials are in the building.  

 

Missing young Maria-Irene Printezi found

3 and half year old Maria-Irene Printezi, who had reportedly recently fallen victim of a kidnapping, has been found in the area of Elefsina and is safe. According sources, the little girl was detected by Elefsina coastguard officers at the front of their headquarters, Monday, and was immediately taken to the Chaidari police station. The girl is in good condition.

Five Turkish Airlines staff members released, two remain hostages in Mali capital

Five Turkish Airlines staff members have been released while two remain hostages at the luxury Radisson Blu hotel in Mali's capital Bamako following a shooting rampage led by "jihadists," private broadcaster CNN Türk has reported. 

Seven Turkish Airlines personnel were among the 170 taken hostage in Mali. While five were released, two remain in captivity.

The terror suspects related to the arms hideout at Marathonas were planning a series of entrepreneurs and ship owners kidnappings, said police on Friday.

A notebook with names of certain people who were targets of kidnappings along with detailed execution plans were found in the hideout.

Hostage situation ends aboard passenger ferry, Kriti 2

A hostage situation aboard the passenger ferry, Kriti 2, on a route from Crete to Piraeus ended when the police stormed on board. Early reports showed that a passenger, aged 30, held a female hostage on board, threatening her with a broken glass.

The hostage-taker was monitored by the crew whereas the other passengers, roughly around 600 people, had been distanced from the scene.

Minister suspects child was abducted "to be sold"

BELGRADE -- Nebojsa Stefanovic says it is suspected that the French citizens who last week abducted a child in Belgrade were operating as part of a human trafficking ring.

According to the interior minister, the 2-year-old girl could have been taken in order to be "sold."
