FYROM raises a fence at Greek-FYROM borders
“FYROM started raising a fence along its borders with Greece on Saturday morning” stated to Athens news agency a source of Kilkis police department responsible for guarding the borders at Idomeni area where thousands of refugees arrive aiming to enter FYROM and then go to Central and North Europe.

Cigarette-smuggling ring arrested in northern Greece
Police in Kilkis, northern Greece, said on Saturday that they had smashed a criminal racket alleged to have smuggled thousands of packets of contraband cigarettes into Greece.
Police said they arrested four Greek nationals, aged 24, 36, 37 and 48, on a rural road near the country?s border with the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) late on Thursday.
Pilot, two students injured in plane crash in northern Greece
The Committee for Investigating Airplane Accidents and Flight Safety (EDAAP) was on Monday investigating the circumstances under which a training flight went down in Kilkis, northern Greece, on Sunday, injuring the pilot and two Italian trainees.
The Cessna went down on an islet in the middle of the Axios River while heading back to Thessaloniki?s Makedonia Airport.
Small aircraft crashes in Axios river; three people rescued
A small training aircraft crashed on an islet on Axios river in Epirus on Sunday, at around 15.00 in the afternoon.
According to the fire department, three people were rescued, including the pilot and two Italian nationals. The pilot was slightly injured and the two other passengers are unharmed, but were transferred to the hospital of Kilkis for precautionary reasons.
Teen electrocuted at train power depot in Kilkis
The company responsible for Greece?s railways and trains, OSE, was on Monday investigating the circumstances that led to the electrocution death of a 15-year-old at a train power depot in Kilkis, northern Greece, on Sunday.
The boy was reportedly playing with a friend around the disused tracks and had climbed into a decommissioned train engine.
