The unnamed reporter was on the flight taking Kim Jong-nam’s body back to North Korea following his assassination with VX nerve agent in Malaysia.

It is believed Malaysia reached a ‘swap deal’ with notorious despot Kim Jong-un following a diplomatic row over the investigation into the murder.

North Korea said March 2 it is ready to be "merciless" in the face of joint South Korean-United States military drills that began a day earlier. 

The weeks-long annual military exercises in the South have also previously provoked Pyongyang, which views them as a preparation for invasion. 

The banned chemical weapon VX nerve agent was used to kill Kim Jong Nam, the North Korean ruler's outcast half brother who was attacked by two women who rubbed the substance on his face at the airport in Malaysia's capital last week, police said on Feb. 24.

According to sources close to the Malaysian authorities, a second woman has been arrested for the murder of Kim Jong Un’s brother Kim Jong Nam. The 25-year-old woman with an Indonesian passport has been identified as Siti Aishah.

The Malaysian authorities have under custody a woman accused of the murder of North Korean leader’s Kim Jong Un’s half-brother, Kim Jong Nam.
According to the Malaysian news agency Bernama, the woman was arrested in the international airport of Kuala Lumpur. She was alone at the time of her arrest and she had a Vietnamese passport with her.

North Korea is to construct a monument honouring dictator Kim Jong-un, his father and grandfather, on the country’s highest mountain, in a further sign that the young autocrat is intent on building his own personality cult.

The United States on Jan. 1 sharply condemned a North Korean plan to test-fire an intercontinental ballistic missile and warned Pyongyang against "provocative actions."  

The toughly worded U.S. statement called on "all states" to show the North that any unlawful actions would have "consequences."  

South Korea warned Dec. 11 of "fatal" consequences for Pyongyang's leadership if provoked into conflict, after North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un oversaw a military drill simulating an attack on Seoul's presidential Blue House.

North Korea claimed on Sept. 9 it has successfully tested a nuclear warhead that could be mounted on a missile, drawing condemnation from the South over the "maniacal recklessness" of young ruler Kim Jong-Un.

The leader of North Korea, Kim Jong-un, turned to be an unexpected ally of the Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, since through North Korean state media he called him “wise politician” and “far-sighted candidate” who could help unify the Korean peninsula.
