Bulgaria: WCC-DB with Seven Conditions for GERB in order to Still have a Government

The co-chairman of "We Continue the Change" Kiril Petkov announced that together with their coalition partner "Democratic Bulgaria" they decided to confirm the declaration of the "Denkov-Gabriel" cabinet, however, they set seven conditions in order for their joint rule with GERB to continue.

Kiril Petkov: We are Witnessing Attacks against the Parliamentary Republic

"In recent days, there have been attacks against the parliamentary republic". This was said by the co-chairman of the party, Kiril Petkov, at a WCC-DB briefing in the parliament. His words are in response to the tension that turned into a fight in the National Assembly between representatives of the "We Continue the Change" and "Vazrazhdane" parliamentary groups.

Former PM Petkov: We are Starting the Great Unification of Democratic Communities

"Today you will see the first step of a process called the unification of good forces. All democratic communities, parties, people with causes, with the idea of Bulgaria being a prosperous country, we are starting the great unification." This was said by the leader of "We Continue the Change" Kiril Petkov.

Kiril Petkov: In this Parliament, "We Continue the Change" will be a Constructive, Predictable Opposition

"In this parliament, 'We continue the change' will resume its work from where it was stopped, as a constructive, predictable opposition," WCC co-chairman Kiril Petkov said from the parliamentary rostrum.

According to him, "the party will be guided by two principles in order to fulfill our pre-election promises".

Issues have arisen over the certification of the project, which prompted interim Energy Minister Rosen Hristov, who is yet to publicly comment on the matter, to block the process. 

Ex-PM Borissov: Quick Elections, the Bulgarian State has Collapsed

"There should be peace, understanding and tolerance. The election is only one day away. Elections pass, but we continue to live together. Partners are found in life, in the field, during elections." This was stated by former Prime Minister and current leader of GERB, Boyko Borissov.

Borissov commented on whether he would support an expert government.
