Partizan invited to the Champions League!
"Sportando" reports that these teams received an invitation on the same day when it was announced that Darussafaka, Ritas and Bilbao had officially transferred from the Eurocup to the FIBA competition.
Partizan is currently a member of the Eurocup and the only representative of Serbia, i.e. the ABA league, in the quarterfinals of the competition that may be played in our country.

Bora Stankovic passed away
Stankovic is one of the founders of BC Red Star, a Yugoslav national team player and the man who scored the first basketball points in the World Cup history.
Stankovic played for Red Star, Zeleznicar and Partizan during his playing career from 1946 to 1953, while he also served as coach in the BC Partizan.

Partizan defeated by Lietuvos Ritas in basketball Eurocup
VILNIUS - Partizan Belgrade lost 93-75 (22-19, 25-17, 22-20, 24-19) on the road to Lietuvos Ritas in a Eurocup Basketball Round 7, Group C game late Tuesday.
Partizan now have only theoretical chances of going through to the next stage of the competition.
Exhibition marks 25h years of Partizan BC's European title
BELGRADE - With an exhibition at Belgrade's Stab gallery, Partizan BC are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their European champions title.
On April 16, 1992 in Istanbul, Partizan beat Joventut Badalona 71-70 through an Aleksandar Djordjevic three-pointer in the last second of the FIBA European League final.
Partizan end Red Star's ABA League winning streak
BELGRADE - Partizan Belgrade defeated Red Star 86-81 (21-17, 25-29, 21-26, 19-9) in Round 21 of the regional ABA basketball league on Sunday, ending their arch-rivals' impressive 20-game winning streak in the competition.
This was also the Red-and-Whites' first defeat in the regional league in a year - once again at the hands of Partizan.
