Interpol Issues 'Red Notice' for Bosnian in Syria

Interpol on Friday published a "red notice" for Alija Keserevic, aged 23, from Buzim, northwest Bosnia, for organizing a terrorist group and unlawfully either establishing or joining foreign paramilitary or parapolice formations.

The Interpol website said it had published these charges on the request of Bosnia's justice organs.

Plight of Bosnia's Public Broadcaster Causes Alarm

Bosnia's main broadcaster BHRT may close down altogether, experts and journalists warn, as the financial woes that have plagued the broadcaster for years already continue to worsen.

BHRT director Belmin Karamehmedovic told local news portal Klix on Wednesday that because of rapidly falling revenues, staff now have no health insurance, and their salaries are being paid late.

Detention Sought For Bosnian Banker Pavlovic

Bosnia's state prosecution on Friday asked the state court, the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to detain Slobodan Pavlovic, the owner of Pavlovic Bank, for 30 days together with Petar Lazic, the former bank director, Ljiljana Garic, an employee in the department for credits and Blago Blagojevic, a former employee of Pavlovic's company Slobomir.

Bosnia Arrests Six ISIS Suspects, Seizes Weapons

A total of six Bosnian citizens suspected of having connections with Islamic State have been detained in a series of operations, media reported on Monday.

One of them was arrested in Turkey while allegedly trying to reach Syria to join Islamic State militants, Bosnian media quoted the state prosecution as saying.

Small Serbian plane crashes in Bosnia, one dead

One person died and another was seriously injured when a small plane crashed on Mt. Ozren in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the klix.ba website is reporting.

"Rescuers are headed toward the scene, more information will be known during the day," the officer on duty at the Public Security Center in the town of Doboj said on Thursday afternoon.
