The Athens Concert Hall presents a live broadcast of "The Entertainer" from London's Branagh Theater on Thursday, October 27. Directed by Rob Ashford, John Osborne's play stars Kenneth Branagh, Jonah Hauer-King, Gawn Grainger, Sophie McShera and Greta Scacchi. The performance is in English with Greek subtitles. The screening starts at 9.15 p.m.

Angus Deaton wins 2015 Nobel Prize for Economic Sciences

The Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel 2015 was awarded to economist Angus Deaton “for his analysis of consumption, poverty, and welfare”.

Deaton, 69, was born in Edinburgh but now works at Princeton University in New Jersey and he holds both U.S. and British citizenship.

Benaki Museum presents Tony Cragg

Tony Cragg is one of the world’s most foremost sculptors and his sculptures are displayed at permanent collections of the most important museums of the world.

The exhibition of Tony Cragg will run from September 10 to November 8 at Benaki Museum and includes 25 sculptures mainly made of wood, bronze, stone and mirror-finished stainless steel.
