Croatian Leaders Celebrate 1995 Victory Over Rebel Serbs
Croatia's political leadership gathered on Monday in the Dalmatian town of Knin to celebrate the 24th anniversary of the military offensive that snuffed out a rebel Serbian statelet and ended Croatia's 1991-95 war of independence from Yugoslavia.
Croatian court sentences Captain Dragan to 15 yrs in prison
SPLIT - The county court in Split, Croatia, on Tuesday sentenced Dragan Vasiljkovic, also known as Captain Dragan, to 15 years in prison, Croatian media reported.
Vasiljkovic, 62, was found guilty on two counts of his indictment - abuse of prisoners of war in the Knin fortress and an attack on a police station in Glina.

Croatia: Captain Dragan sentenced to 15 years
Dragan Vasiljkovic, aka Kapetan (Captain) Dragan, was on Tuesday sentenced to 15 years in prison by a Croatian court.
The court in the town of Split found him guilty on charges of war crimes committed against Croat soldiers and civilians in the 1990s.

Vasiljkovic pleads "absolutely not guilty"
SPLIT - Dragan Vasiljkovic, also known as Captain Dragan, on Tuesday pleaded "absolutely not guilty" to charges of war crimes committed against Croatian soldiers and civilians during the war of the 1990s.
The much-publicised, high-security trial before the county court in Split, Croatia, will resume on October 18 with witness testimonies.

Murder of 9 Serbs in Croatia unpunished for 20 years
