Kosovo Assembly to Probe Legality of Turkish Deportations
The Assembly of Kosovo on Wednesday adopted a resolution proposed by the Democratic League of Kosovo, LDK, based on which it will establish a committee to investigate the highly controversial deportation of six Turkish nationals on March 29.
"Serbs could return to government now that minister's gone"
The Serbs announced their exit after last week's incidents and arrest of Serbian official Marko Djuric.
Krasniqi, from the ruling PDK, said the Serb List could now return, considering that Interior Minister Flamur Sefaj has resigned.
Week Of Deportations Leaves Kosovo Govt Shaken
Kosovo Interior Minister Flamur Sefar has said his sacking on Tuesday was sought by Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj following the controversial arrest and deportation of six Turkish citizens.
Haradinaj said that he had not been duly informed about the "secret and urgent deportation" of the six Turkish nationals.

Djuric: Srpska list absolute winner of Kosovo local elections
BELGRADE - The Srpska list is the absolute winner of the Kosovo-Metohija local elections after winning in all ten Serb-majority municipalities, Marko Djuric, head of the Serbian Office for Kosovo-Metohija, said on Monday.

Polling stations opened at 7am on Sunday in Kosovo for the second round of the local elections, in 19 municipalities where no one claimed victory in round one.

Nigeria and Uganda removed from list of states that recognize Kosovo
The Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs has published an updated list of countries that have recognized Kosovo, Tanjug reported on Friday.
The agency cited the Pristina-based Albanian language daily Koha Ditore, which writes that Nigeria and Uganda have been removed from the list - and that Pristina never received their recognition notes.

Voters Going To Polls In Kosovo To Select Mayors
Voters in Kosovo are heading to the polls on October 22 in an election to choose mayors and councilors in 38 municipalities.
Some 1.89 million people are registered to vote at 2,505 polling stations in 38 municipalities, with the mayor's race in Pristina likely to be the most closely watched.
