Hashim Thaci has called early parliamentary elections for June 11 after the government collapsed following a no-confidence motion in parliament, RFE/RL reports.
Thaci announced the date for the vote on May 11, after holding meetings with Kosovo's political leaders.

Hashim Thaci: 'I Will Set Election Date in Coming Days'
President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci said after meeting representatives of political parties that parliamentary elections will be held either on 11 or 18 June, Gazeta Express reported.

Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has said, after holding separate meetings with party leaders, that early elections in Kosovo will be held on June 11 or 18.
He said that most parties agreed the date should be June 11.
