Turkish troops return from Kosovo after completing mission
Turkish commando battalion deployed in Kosovo upon the request by NATO to assist in quelling violent unrest in the Balkan country has started to return to Türkiye as the mission is completed, the Defense Ministry has announced.
Rakic meets with new Eulex chief
KOSOVSKA MITROVICA - Srpska lista leader Goran Rakic said on Tuesday he had met with the new head of the Eulex mission Giovanni Pietro Barbano to discuss a withdrawal of special units from the north of Kosovo-Metohija and greater presence of Eulex and Kfor patrols.

The EU's special envoy for dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, Miroslav Lajak, welcomed the decision to reduce the number of members of the so-called Kosovo Police in the north of Kosovo.
This decision was made at a meeting of representatives of the so-called Kosovo Police, EULEX and KFOR.

Dacic: Stoltenberg understands situation in Kosovo-Metohija
BELGRADE - Serbian FM Ivica Dacic said on Friday President Aleksandar Vucic's recent meeting with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg had been fair and that Stoltenberg understood the situation in Kosovo-Metohija.
Speaking to Pink TV, Dacic said Stoltenberg had established a very fair, human and direct relationship with Vucic.

PRISTINA - The Kfor mission said on Wednesday there was no evidence of alleged weapons smuggling to Serbian Orthodox churches in Kosovo-Metohija in ambulances via administrative crossings in the province.
Previously, British MP Alicia Kearns accused the Serbian Orthodox Church of involvement in weapons smuggling from central Serbia to Kosovo-Metohija.

As they stated, a routine military exercise will be conducted with the aim of improving the readiness and preparedness of the units.
The announcement states that the soldiers and vehicles of that mission will be deployed in the municipalities of Istok, trpce, Mamusha, Deane, Djakovica, Draga, Elez Han and Elezit Kaanik.
