Rama continues with "inevitable unification" statements
TIRANA -- Albania and Kosovo will unify, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama has repeated in an interview for Sky News Arabia.
On Friday, Rama stated that he "already said" this unification was something Albania considers as inevitable and unquestionable, adding that he "believes it will happen on the path toward Europe."
Serbian Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic announced on Thursday that the Foreign Minister of Kosovo Hashim Thaci risks being arrested if he attends a conference in Belgrade next week.
Stefanovic explained that in case Thaci comes to Serbia, the Interior Ministry will take action in accordance with the law and bring him to justice, Tanjug state news agency reports.
EU wants "respect of Brussels deal procedures"
BRUSSELS -- The EU expects the procedure envisaged in the Brussels agreement to be respected in case of the announced visit of Kosovo FM Hashim Thaci to Belgrade.
This is according to a spokesperson of the High EU representatives for foreign affairs and security policy, who made the statement on Friday.
Organizer: Thaci confirms visit to Belgrade
BELGRADE -- Hasim Thaci has "confirmed his visit to Belgrade to attend the conference on European integration of the Western Balkans due to take place from April 23 to 25."
This was announced late on Thursday by the organizer, the Youth Education Committee NGO.
Prosecutor: Thaci could be arrested in Belgrade
BELGRADE -- Serbian War Crimes Prosecutor Vladimir Vukcevic has said that the warrant for the arrest of Hashim Thaci is valid in Serbia.
That means that if he arrived in Belgrade, Thaci, a former leader of the KLA who now serves as Kosovo's foreign minister and deputy prime minister, could be arrested, Vukcevic explained.
