BELGRADE - The Office of the Belgrade Public Prosecutor on Wednesday filed criminal charges against Serbian Radical Party (SRS) leader Vojislav Seselj for burning the Croatian flag.

Prime Minister Mustafa said on Wednesday that NATO would not stand in the way of Kosovo forming its own army, but NATO's approval would be needed before it could undertake any action in the mainly Serbian far north of the country.

BELGRADE - Vojislav Seselj, leader of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS), has said that he will not return to the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) voluntarily, and that he will not hand over any medical report either to the Tribunal or the Serbian authorities.

Kosovo Liberation Army veterans broke into the courtyard of the government building during a protest calling on the authorities to start paying them state benefits.

Hundreds of people gathered in Belgrade on the 16th anniversary of the air strikes on Yugoslavia that ended the Kosovo war in 1999 to commemorate the victims of NATO’s bombing.

BELGRADE - Serbia is on Tuesday marking the Remembrance Day for the victims of the NATO aggression that killed at least 2,500 and wounded around 10,000 people 16 years ago.

During the 78 days of air raids, 1,008 Yugoslav Forces soldiers and Serbian policemen were killed, as well as around 1,500 civilians, including 89 children.
