Serbia demands urgent extradition of Haradinaj
BELGRADE - Serbia demands an urgent extradition of Ramus Haradinaj, the head of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija, Marko Djuric, said Friday after a government session on the matter.
Serbia will continue to prosecute all those accused or indicted of war crimes, regardless of their ethnicity, the government concluded at the session.

First Train From Belgrade to Kosovo Since 1999 Stopped Over Security Threat
BELGRADE - The first passenger train from the Serbian capital of Belgrade to Kosovo was stopped on Saturday over a security threat, local media reported.
The train left Belgrade for Mitrovica was stopped in the city of Raska near the administrative border with Kosovo, the Beta news agency reported.

Tensions grew between Serbia and Kosovo on Saturday after Belgrade ordered that a train be halted before entering the Kosovar territory due to reports of a planned attack.
The Belgrade-Kosovska Mitrovica train service was running for the first time since the 1999 NATO bombings.

Haradinaj released pending final decision on extradition
COLMAR - Former "Kosovo Liberation Army" leader Ramus Haradinaj was Thursday released from custody in France pending a court decision on a request to extradite him to Serbia.
Haradinaj has no permission to leave France.

Switzerland: Albanians paint Serbian flag, then burn it
BELGRADE - Two Albanians have been recorded on video setting a Serbian flag on fire in Geneva, Switzerland, in protest over the arrest of Ramush Haradinaj.
Haradinaj, a former KLA leader and Kosovo prime minister, was arrested in France last week on a Serbian war crimes warrant.
