Kosovo Joins Campaign to Stop Violence Against Women
The Kosovo government and international institutions including the UN, alongside NGOs and civic groups, are holding a series of events to highlight assaults on women as part of the annual 16 Days of Activism against Gender Based Violence which runs until December 10.
Albanian Activists Rally for Kosovo MP's Release
Several dozen activists gathered on Tuesday in front of the Pyramid, a well-known landmark in Tirana, to protest against Kurti's 30-day remand in a top-security jail.
Students, civil society representatives and independent MP Mesila Doda took part in the rally alongside the Vetevendosje (Self-Determination) party supporters.

Kosovo, Serbia Failing to Implement Normalisation Deal
The failure to implement the agreements negotiated so far is causing continued hardship for both Albanians and Serbs living in Kosovo, says the report published on Tuesday by the BIG DEAL initiative which involves BIRN Kosovo, Internews Kosova and the Advocacy Centre for Democratic Culture from northern Mitrovica.
Four Kosovars Arrested for 'Pope Attack Threat'
Three men were arrested in Italy and one in Kosovo on Tuesday in a joint operation staged by Kosovo police and their Italian counterparts after the suspects allegedly posted pictures of themselves with weapons on their Facebook pages and made threats against Pope Francis and the US diplomat.

Hand grenade thrown at village store in Kosovo
A hand grenade that failed to detonate has been thrown at a store in the village of Gojbulja near Vucitrn in Kosovo.
Radio Kontakt Plus form Kosovska Mitrovica reported that a large number of people were in the store when the attack took place. Local Serbs shop there, according to this.

Police: About 120 IS fighters returned to Kosovo
There are currently about 120 persons in Kosovo who returned from the ranks of so-called Islamic State (IS), Kosovo police spokesperson Baki Kelani has said.
The persons in question had been taking part in the fighting in Syria and Iraq at various times since 2011, Pristina-based Albanian language daily Zeri is quoted by Serbia's state broadcaster RTS on Monday.

Opposition again throws tear gas in Kosovo assembly
The Kosovo assembly was unable to hold a meeting on Monday after tear gas was thrown once again by opposition members.
They oppose the part of the EU-brokered Brussels agreement on the setting up of a Community of Serb Municipalities.
Kosovo MP Kurti Sent to High-Security Jail
A Pristina court on Sunday ordered Kurti to be held for 30 days in a high-security prison after riot police detained him when they stormed the Vetevendosje party's headquarters the previous day, clashing with its supporters.
The raid followed an opposition rally on Saturday against the Kosovo government's recent EU-brokered agreements with Serbia and Montenegro.

One person wounded in Kosovska Mitrovica explosion
A Kosovo Albanian was wounded and eight cars were damaged in an explosion that took place in north Kosovska Mitrovica on Sunday.
After the incident that happened around 13:00 CET, Zeljko Bojic, Kosovo police regional chief of operating, told Tanjug that the explosive device used is most probably a bomb, and that a Kosovo Albanian was injured on the occasion.
