Maribor – Two and a half years after the first pre-trial hearing in a case in which former NKBM bank CEO Matjaž Kovačič and his aides are being tried for property transactions in Croatia in 2006-2007, the main hearing was held at the Maribor court on Wednesday. All four former senior bank officials denied the charges.

The players cannot wait for the tournament to start after training together and playing warm-up matches for three months, as they will be cheered by the home crowd in Ljubljana's Stožice Arena.

BELGRADE - East-West Bridge (EWB) members aim to promote progressive and judicious liberalisation of trade, democracy, civil society, policy and state development while respecting underlying national policies and strategies, EWB President Jovan Kovacic said at the NGO's annual cocktail, held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia on Tuesday.

The opening evening will feature performances by singer-songwriters Rudi Bučar and Jani Kovačič and punk-rock band Ana Pupedan, and a poetry reading.
