Bulgarian PM Borisov Attended the Final Stage of the В-9 CJSE „Thracian Sword - 2018"

Last week, on 26 October, the Special Operations Forces of the B-9 member states together with servicemen of U.S. aviation held the final stage of the multinational military exercise "Thracian Sword - 2018", which this year took place at the military training range of Novo Selo.

Bulgarian Defense Minister: Working Group will Study Offers for New Fighter Jets by October 19

Sofia. By October 19, a working group will analyse the proposals and will assess if they meet Bulgaria's requirements, in the meantime it may request further clarification from the bidders, Minister of Defence Krasimir Karakachanov told bTV regarding the opened offers in the competition for the supply of fighters.

At a working meeting of the Council of Ministers on Wednesday, convened at the request of Deputy Prime Ministers Krasimir Karakachanov and Valeriy Simeonov and the Environment Minister Neno Dimov, the Bulgarian Government has decided to draft a position in defense of Hungary and against the proposal to initiate a criminal proceedings against it under Article 7 of the Treaty on European Union.

Over BGN 50 Million Needed for the Repair the Bulgarian Army's Helicopters

Defense Minister Krasimir Karakachanov has introduced the government with an estimate of the funds needed to repair the helicopters on the ground. According to the Minister of Defense for the restoration of the airworthiness of part of the available helicopter equipment of our aviation are needed only a little over BGN 50 million is needed.
