Acknowledgement from Pristina? Sending the mayors to the municipal offices was wrong

President of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Memli Krasniqi, said that the elections were the result of escalation in the north, which resulted in the deterioration of relations with the international community.
Krasniqi also said that he should not have insisted on sending the mayors to municipal facilities, reports Siri.

Jakup Krasniqi told the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague during opening statements in the case against him and three other ex-guerrillas that he denies the charges, some of which he described as "absurd".

Krasniqi, 72, told the court he had nothing to do with the war crimes and crimes against humanity mentioned in the indictment.

Using video footage of statements from the 1990s as well as documents found in some of the defendants' homes, lead prosecutor Alan Tieger showed the court KLA communiques and orders for arrests, which he said was evidence that the guerrilla force targeted political opponents.

On Twitter, Avdiu was mentioned in 334 comments within 24 hours of the T7 post - 55 per cent contained sexual content, 30 per cent constituted harassment, and only two per cent were supportive. Analysis showed that only one of the Twitter accounts was fake; the rest were real.
