6 PKK terrorists neutralized: Ministry
A total of six PKK terrorists have been neutralized in separate operations conducted in Syria and Iraq, the National Defense Ministry has announced.
In the Peace Spring Operation region in northern Syria, two PKK/YPG members who were determined to be preparing for an attack were neutralized.

Türkiye demands extradition of terrorists from Finland

MİT brings senior PKK member to Türkiye
The National Intelligence Organization (MİT) has brought Burhan Piçak, who was leading PKK/KCK's "assassination unit," to Türkiye in the operation carried out in northern Iraq.
Piçak, code-named Canşer/Laşer, was determined to cross into Syria from the southeastern province of Diyarbakır's Lice district in 2015 and join the PKK.

Presidential spokesperson rejects chemical weapon allegations
Presidential Spokesperson İbrahim Kalın reacted harshly to the allegations that the Turkish Armed Forces used chemical weapons.
"Chemical weapons lie is the futile effort of those who try to justify and aestheticize terrorism," Kalin tweeted on Oct. 20.
PKK’s ‘arsenal’ captured at Istanbul Airport
Arriving at Istanbul Airport with a fake ID from Iran, PKK terrorist Serhat Özel, known as the "arsenal" of the organization, has been captured at the passport control point.
Code-named Kendal Numan Amed, Özel arrived at Istanbul Airport on a plane departing from Iran's Tehran on Oct. 14.

A PKK member who escaped from the terrorist organization surrendered to the security forces as a result of persuasion efforts carried out by police and gendarmerie.

MİT neutralizes PKK's so-called local leader
The National Intelligence Organization (MİT) has neutralized a PKK local leader who led one of the most crowded terrorist units in Syria.
Nejdet Dağlarer, codenamed "Geli Serhat," was monitored for a while due to his activities in Türkiye and his actions against the Turkish army by the MİT.

Türkiye condemns US national emergency on Turkish operation in Syria
Türkiye has condemned a national emergency that was declared by U.S. President Joe Biden in the context of Syria in October 2019 and was renewed again on Oct. 12.
The decree contains "baseless allegations and accusations about our country," said the Foreign Ministry on Oct. 13.
