Turkish, Iraqi local military officials meet to review security in northern Iraq
Turkish and Iraqi local military officials held a security meeting along the border, the Turkish Defense Ministry has announced, stressing that the two neighboring countries are cooperating to secure the border and citizens of the two nations.
5 PKK terrorists ‘neutralized’ in northern Iraq

Minister vows continued fight against terrorism in Iraq's north
Defense Minister Yaşar Güler has insisted that Turkish troops will remain in northern Iraq until the terror threat, particularly from the PKK, is eliminated.
"Everyone knows that Türkiye needs to move to another phase [in the fight against terrorism]," Güler said during a gathering with reporters in the capital Ankara on March 10.

FM urges US to cut ties with PKK during Washington visit
Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has met with White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, pressing the United States to sever its connections with the PKK and its affiliates.
In the meeting on March 7, Fidan underscored Türkiye's commitment to combating terrorist organizations in Syria, urging the U.S. to "act with the spirit of alliance," according to diplomatic sources.
