The peace process between Turkey and the outlawed Kurdistan Workersâ Party (PKK) is at a turning point and both sides âneed to articulate realistic end goals,â according to the International Crisis Groupâs latest report, which also details the parameters of a possible peace deal.

Washington dismisses Erdoğan’s ‘cacophony’ complaint

Who is in control?
It was good that the Interior Ministryâs press section issued a statement and corrected a statement attributed to Interior Minister Efkan Ala that the Turkish state has lost control of the southeastern parts of the country to the separatist Kurdistan Workersâ Party (PKK) gang. âSuch news doesnât reflect the realityâ the ministry said.
