Vucic: I asked Quint representatives to stop Kurti from starting new Balkan war
BELGRAD - In a discussion with EU and Quint representatives on Thursday morning, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic asked them to do everything in their power to stop Pristina's PM Albin Kurti from starting a new war in the Balkans.

Vui met with the head of the European Union delegation in Serbia, Emmanuel Giaufret, as well as with the ambassadors of Germany, France and Italy, Anke Konrad, Pierre Koshar and Luca Gori, respectively.
After the meeting, he announced on his Instagram profile:

The cancellation of a joint meeting between the two governments due to the tense situation in Kosovo's Serb-majority north has further damaged already frayed relations between Albin Kurti and Edi Rama.
Haradinaj called for Kurti's dismissal: "Albin could be a spy of Serbia"
Haradinaj claimed that Prime Minister Albin Kurti could be "spy of Serbia for threatening Kosovo's alliance with the USA and NATO".
Haradinaj called for the dismissal of Prime Minister Kurti and his government a national emergency and urged MPs to be part of the vote of no confidence.
EU Announces Measures Against Kosovo Over Unrest in North
EU spokesman Peter Stano on Wednesday said the 27 EU member states had "unanimously" agreed to take "reversible and temporary measures" against Kosovo, "depending on the development on the ground and credible decisive steps by (Kosovo) Prime Minister (Albin) Kurti".
According to Stano, "the EU has prepared proposals with measures with immediate effect".
''Kurti gave them the middle finger''
Richard Grenell, the Envoy for Dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina from the administration of former U.S. President Donald Trump, points out that Kurti "showed the middle finger".
This is how he commented on yesterday's arrest of Serbs in Kosovska Mitrovica, after which there were new incidents in the north of Kosovo and Metohija.

Brnabic: Kurti causing fresh escalation to avoid commitments
LONDON - Commenting on the latest developments in the north of Kosovo-Metohija, Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said on Tuesday they were another provocation by Pristina's PM Albin Kurti, who she said was causing a fresh escalation and a new wave of violence to avoid commitments from the Brussels and Ohrid agreements, including the establishment of a Community of Serb Municipalities.
A cheeky proposal; "Let Rama send that proposal to Vučić..."
Speaking about the proposal for the Draft Statute of the CSM that Edi Rama sent to French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti said that the Albanian Prime Minister should propose something like this to President Aleksandar Vui for the Albanians in Preevo, Medvedja and Bujanovac, reports Reporters.
An attempt to avert a disaster?
The founder of the Forum for Ethnic Relations, Duan Janji, said that the Draft Statute of the Community of Serbian Municipalities, which Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama sent to German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and French President Emmanuel Macron, was an attempt to prevent a disaster for Kosovo Albanians, so that, as he said, they would not fall out of favor with the USA, reports RTV.
