30 arrested for 'attempted coup' in Kyrgyzstan: official
More than 30 people accused of a coup plot have been arrested in Kyrgyzstan, the national security service said Tuesday.
The impoverished Central Asian country with ties to Russia and China has seen three presidents resign over political crises fuelled by corruption, nepotism and disputed votes since gaining independence from the Soviet Union in 1991.

Bursa to host fourth Nomad Games
The fourth World Nomad Games will be held near Lake İznik in the northwestern province of Bursa between Sept. 29 and Oct. 2, with around 3,000 athletes from 40 countries competing across 13 disciplines.
The organization, dedicated to ethnic sports practiced in Central Asia, include wrestling, hunting with eagles and equestrian events.

Turkey, Kyrgyzstan to sign security deal: Minister
Turkey and Kyrgyzstan will sign an agreement on security cooperation "as soon as possible," Turkey's interior minister said on Oct. 24.
Süleyman Soylu met his Kyrgyz counterpart Ulan Niyazbekov in Istanbul.

Kyrgyzstan orders Turkey’s Bayraktar TB2 drones
Kyrgyzstan's president said on Oct. 23 that his country will purchase unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) from both Turkey and Russia.
"We're not buying drones to go to war with someone. We will buy drones to ensure the country's security," Sadyr Japarov said in his first annual press conference in the capital Bishkek, after assuming the post at the beginning of 2021.

Putin to Biden: Do not deploy troops there
According to the American "Wall Street Journal", referring to unnamed sources, Putin asked Biden not to deploy troops in the countries surrounding Afghanistan, during their meeting in Geneva, which was held in June.

World extends condolences over deadly floods in Turkey
Turkey on Aug. 13 received condolence messages from around the world because of deadly floods in the Black Sea region that have claimed dozens of lives.

Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov extended his condolences to his Turkish counterpart, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, for the natural disaster, according to the Presidential Press Center.
"This is a historic moment for Serbia"
This was said today by the Minister of Innovation and Technological Development, Nenad Popovi.
"This is a historic moment for Serbia. As a result of our excellent political relations, new perspectives have opened up for the development of our economic ties, which are of key importance for our country, economy and citizens," Popovic told the Russian Agency TASS.
