PM to meet farmers if blockades are lifted; date to be finalized Friday
Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis' meeting with farmer representatives will reportedly take place on Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning after his return from Belgrade, provided they lift their roadblocks on the national highway network. The date is expected to be finalized on Friday.
PM discusses European elections with EPP president
In a meeting at the Maximos Mansion on Thursday, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with Manfred Weber, President and Head of the European People's Party (EPP).
Weber's visit to Greece included participation in an event co-organized by the Greek ruling party New Democracy and the EPP.

Farmers dumped chestnuts and apples on the pavement outside an agricultural fair in Thessaloniki on Saturday and promised to escalate protests after a Tuesday meeting.
Those who did the dumping outside annual Agrotica trade fair were from the Thessaly region, who came on buses to join their colleagues from the north who had come with their tractors Friday.
