Public servants' wage negotiations to commence
Public servants? wages are set to increase in 2016 and 2017 thanks to a collective bargaining process which will start on Aug. 3.
Around 2.3 million public servants and 2 million retired public servants will have their eyes on the negotiations which will be conducted at the Labor and Social Security Ministry.

Youth Unemployment in Bulgaria Drops to 17.7% in 2014
Youth unemployment in Bulgaria dropped by 4.1 percentage points on the year in 2014, according to the 2014 annual report on youth approved by the government.
Unemployment in the age group 15-29 stood at 17.7%, down by 4.1% from 2013.
Serbian Parliament Mulls Public Sector Layoffs
The Serbian parliament on Monday discussed the government's legislative proposal for public sector employment which envisages that around 9,000 people will be laid off by the end of 2015, most of them in the education, justice and healthcare sectors.

Vucic: Education, healthcare reform in 2016
Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said on Tuesday that "progress is not possible without constant access to the latest scientific developments."
He announced that 2016 "will be the year of education and health care reform in Serbia."
