Moscow invites Bulgarian IT Workers to Emigrate to Russia under a Simplified Procedure
The Moscow Embassy in Sofia offered an irresistible offer for Bulgarian IT specialists - to emigrate to Russia under a simplified procedure together with their families.
The proposal was uploaded on the Facebook page of the Russian mission in Bulgaria. The campaign is under the motto "Russia - country of opportunities".
The Мinimum Wage in Greece becomes 780 Еuros
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced the new increase in the minimum wage, which will become 780 euros from April 1, ANA-MPA agency reported.

Brnabic: Foreigners act to be amended in March
BELGRADE - Serbian PM Ana Brnabic said on Tuesday she expected amendments to the Foreigners Act to enter parliamentary procedure in March.
Speaking to reporters at a ceremony at the Aviation Academy, Brnabic said the amended act would unify working and residence permits in a simplified, fully electronic procedure.
That will enable easier and quicker employment, she added.

A high school teacher in the western port city of Patra is under investigation for allegedly sexually harassing a 17-year-old student.
PNO announces 48-hour strike for Feb 8-9
Ferries will remain tied up at ports across Greece February 8-9 after the umbrella union of Greek seamen, PNO, announced a 48-hour strike on Tuesday.
The workers are striking at what they say is the reluctance and refusal of employers to enter into negotiations for the drawing up and signing of new collective labor agreements for 2023.

Process to boost minimum wage being fast-tracked
The process for setting the minimum wage in 2023 is to be accelerated and brought forward so that the new basic wage can come into effect on April 1, in line with a pledge made by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis under a new Labor and Social Affairs Ministry amendment announced on Friday.

Statutory minimum wage going up to €878 net
The statutory minimum wage in Slovenia this year has been set at €878 net a month, €100 more than the year before in the most substantial rise in a decade. There are concerns the hike will increase pressure for other wages to be raised as well and thus fuel inflation further.
