In the Land of Blood and Honey

After more than 10 years, one of Hollywood's most famous actresses returns to Budapest. Angelina Jolie is expected to shoot a film about Maria Callas in Hungary in October, Budapest Reporter has reported.

The last time Jolie was in Budapest was 13 years ago, when she was directing the Golden Globe-nominated film "In the Land of Blood and Honey."

Hollywood star Angelina Jolie worked closely with The Hague Tribunal and former chief prosecutor of the International War Crimes Tribunal (ICC) Luis Moreno Ocampo, according to secret documents that came to public.

Universal Pictures said on Friday it has acquired worldwide rights to Angelina Jolie's next film project, "By the Sea," written and to be directed by the actress who will also co-star and co-produce the drama with partner Brad Pitt.
   

Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has made a USD 50,000 donation to the Red Cross flood relief efforts in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia.

The floods in the Western Balkans have claimed dozens of lives and damaged thousands of homes over the past week. The damages are yet to be calculated.
