Government yields ground on foreclosures
Far from sticking to its guns, the government has yielded significant ground on the new foreclosure protection framework, a draft of which was tabled in Parliament late on Tuesday and will be put to a vote on Thursday.

Tzanakopoulos says foreclosure protection bill satisfies creditors
Following strong disagreements with creditors over the level of protection from foreclosure of debtors' primary residence, government spokesman Dimitris Tzanakopoulos outlined the elements of the bill finally tabled by the government in Parliament on 26 March.
He said the draft legislation will come to a vote within the week.
No decision on Greek tranche disbursement at EWG
The Euro Working Group (EWG) ended on Monday night without a decision on the disbursement of almost 1-billion-euros from creditors, as there is still no agreement with the Greek government on its plan for protecting the primary residence of debtors from foreclosure.

Greek land register crawling along
New land registry offices in the inner Athens suburb of Galatsi have boosted a slow-moving process to establish a Greek cadastre but still only a fraction of properties have been declared.
According to the latest official data, just 7 percent of all property rights have been declared so far - some 700,000 declarations - with 13 percent of all declarations submitted online.

Greece has until March 11 to implement prior actions, EWG says
Greece has until the Eurogroup meeting of eurozone finance ministers on March 11 to complete all of the pending prior actions it needs to secure the disbursement of 1-billion-euro from creditors, the Euro Working Group decided in Brussels on Friday.
