A trailer for an EU-backed project reveals just how distant Turkish speakers are from the Armenian, Greek, Ladino (Judeo-Spanish) and Syriac languages native to the country.

The Tsakonian language, with its foundations in the Doric dialect, the Tsakonian dance with its roots in the myths of Apollo, local traditions, hospitality and the extraordinary natural environment are all part of the 12th annual Melitzazz Festival. The festival is an international gathering of cultures in the village of Leonidio, the capital of Tsakonia.

2km Long Queue of Cars Formed at the Entrance of Kulata Border Checkpoint
A 2km long queue of cars has formed at the entrance of Bulgaria at Kulata border checkpoint, the press centre of Chief Directorate Border Police announced.
The information is by 06:00 local time.
The reason for the forming of the queue of cars is repairs being done on the roadway at the checkpoint.
