Relatives of railway crash victims hold memorial, call for justice

A year after the deadly train crash near the Vale of Tempe, which left 57 dead, it is clear that the relatives of the victims and survivors will wait a long time to see justice done.
It's not that the investigation is lagging, but, with each aspect of the accident examined, more people come under scrutiny and more are likely to be charged.

Farmers to bring tractor protests to Athens
Protesting farmers have agreed to step up their mobilizations across the country by blocking national and provincial roads as well as motorway toll stations from Wednesday.
At a meeting in the town of Nikaia in Larissa, farmer representatives also agreed to organize a tractor rally in Athens next week as well as in other cities nationwide.

Takis Tloupas: Stories from the basement
Rare Super 8 footage captured between 1950 and 1980 by Takis Tloupas and unearthed in the basement of his Larissa home by director Kalliopi Legaki inspired her to explore the life of the photographer who gained renown for his black-and-white images of life in the Thessalian city and countryside. The resulting film, titled "My Father's Studio," "is not a portrait," the director says.
