AG Lazar on declassification of SRI-Prosecution Service protocols: Service conducts legality analysis, then makes decision
Attorney General Augustin Lazar said on Tuesday, about a request from the Minister of Justice, Tudorel Toader, for the declassification of protocols concluded between prosecution bodies and the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI), that the Public Prosecution Service will first conduct a legality analysis, and then make a decision.

Hungary building another fence on border with Serbia
Hungary has started to build a second fence along the southern border with Serbia, Reuters reported on Monday, citing Hungarian officials.
This move will "likely to exacerbate criticism from some of the country's European Union partners," the agency said.
Train Driver's Diary wins award at LA's ARPA film festival
LOS ANGELES - Train Driver's Diary, directed by Milos Radovic, has won the Best Feature Film Award at the just-closed ARPA International Film Festival in Los Angeles, distributor Art Vista said in a statement Tuesday.
Competing against nine films from around the world, the Serbian film won yet another prestigious award - for best screenplay.

WB expert welcomes privatization of Serbian steelmaker
The privatization of the Smederevo steel mill is positive news, the chief World Bank economist in Serbia, Lazar Sestovic, has said.
He added that the same was true of the fact that one of the world's biggest companies in the sector was interested in the plant.
