A bus stop adjacent to the "Slivnitsa" metro station has been fortified with armor plating due to recurring incidents of vandalism, as reported by bTV.

The decision to reinforce the stop came after repeated instances of systematic window breakage, prompting authorities to replace the damaged glass with thick sheet metal to deter further acts of vandalism.

The National Cinema Council, chaired by Vladimir Andreev, selected the film "Aga" by director Milko Lazarov for a Bulgarian proposal in the competition for the Academy Award for Foreign Film.

The chairman of the Board of Directors of Road Infrastructure Agency Lazar Lazarov has tendered in his resignation at the Regional Development Ministry.

Lazarov pointed out that he would like to vacate the post due to personal reasons as of December 1.

Borisov earlier explained he would take the step on a cabinet meeting Friday or Wednesday, after having insisted for weeks that neither Pisanchev nor Lazarov should be replaced.
