Training the police or a paramilitary force?
The oath taken by women police cadets at the Police Training Center (POMEM) in the Central Anatolian province of Yozgat has been raised in a parliamentary question by main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) deputy Zeynep Altıok. I watched the oath-taking ceremony on YouTube. Not only in Yozgat, but in other police training centers, there are videos of the same oath being taken.

Turnovo Constitution: 138th Anniversary
Today marks 138 years since the adoption of the Tarnovo Constitution. On April 16 1879 the Constituent Assembly in the city Veliko Tarnovo, Central Northern Bulgaria, adopted the first basic law of the Principality of Bulgaria formed after the country's liberation from Turkish rule in 1878, quoted by BNR.

The state of emergency and the charter

State of emergency with no control
The main opposition Republican People's Party (CHP) took the statutory decrees (KHK) that were issued during the state of emergency to court, but the Constitutional Court rejected the case. I was waiting for the justified decision to be printed to criticize the decision.

New charter will redefine top court, judiciary, PM says
The new constitution being written by the ruling party will bring about a new definition for the role of the entire judiciary, including the Constitutional Court, the Turkish prime minister has said, adding they wouldn't allow any constitutional body to establish superiority over the will of the people.
The concept of sovereignty in modern times
The prime minister said they were preparing a road map for the writing of a new constitution. All the successful constitutions in the history of democracy have been written through consensus. Unfortunately, this has not happened in our country.
Now, there is nothing to be said about the government's submitting its own draft to the parliament.
