Kornelije Kovač passed away
The famous Serbian composer and author of numerous legendary hits, Kornelije Kova, died today at the age of 81.
The cause of death is currently unknown, and as Kurir learns, the composer tested positive for the coronavirus.
Kornelije Kova was born in Ni in 1942. Kova composed his first composition "Desolate Pavements" already at the age of fourteen, in 1956.

Yugoslav Flags at Pop Concert Enrage Croatian Generals
Four retired Croatian generals - Ivan Tolj, Ivan Kapular, Marinko Kresic and Mile Cuk - issued a statement on Sunday saying that it was a "national shame" that Yugoslav flags under which crimes were committed against the Croatian people were flown at concerts by Lepa Brena in Zagreb.

The Bosnian state court on Wednesday convicted Milomir Davidovic, alias Lici, of forcing a Bosniak woman to have sexual intercourse with him in July 1992.

Celebrating New Year's Eve in Serbia
Belgrade starts celebrating early this year. Starting on December 29, the city hosts four days of concerts in front the National Assembly.
On December 29, the band Miligram kicks off the festivities, followed by performances on December 30 by the band Van Gogh and Serbian pop star Zeljko Joksimovic.
