Hungary Changes Tack on Romania's OECD Bid
Romania's Foreign Ministry on Monday said that neighbouring Hungary would support Bucharest's bid to join the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, OECD.
At the beginning of September, Hungary threatened to block Romania's membership over the closure of a Hungarian-language Catholic school in Romania's Transylvania region.

Slovenia PM Calls off Border Talks in Croatia
Slovenian Prime Minister Mirko Cerar on Thursday said that he was cancelling his visit to Zagreb after his Croatian counterpart, Andrej Plenkovic, told the UN in an address that Slovenia had "compromised" international arbitration of their dispute over the Piran Gulf.

Slovenian Prime Minister Miro Cerar has decided to cancel his visit to Croatia, planned for next week.

Mtel will have a new name, at the request of its owner, Telekom Austria Group. The company announces that it is changing its brand strategy and will introduce a unified policy for all the markets it is in.

"Serbia's no worse than Bulgaria, deserves to join EU ASAP"
Serbia will join the EU in four years, in 2021 or 2022, and deserves to be a member of that community, say the mayor of Slovenia's capital Ljubljana.
In an interview for Serbia' Biznis magazine, cited by Beta on Wednesday, Zoran Jankovic said that he "does not want to insult anyone - but if EU accessions are looked at historically, in what way is Serbia worse than, say, Bulgaria?"
