Libyan warlord declares ceasefire during Ramadan
Forces loyal to Libya's renegade commander Khalifa Haftar on April 30 announced a unilateral ceasefire during the holy month of Ramadan.
Ahmed Al-Mismari, a spokesperson for the Libyan National Army (LNA), said all military operations have been paused during the Muslim fasting month.

Turkey calls on int’l world to respond to Haftar in Libya
Turkey has slammed Libyan National Army (LNA) Commander Khalifa Haftar who unilaterally declared himself as the ruler of Libya and called on the international community to respond to Haftar without delay.
Haftar meets with Macron, militants target two schools in Tripoli
Militants affiliated with renegade Libyan military commander Khalifa Haftar targeted two schools with rocket fire, local officials said on March 9.
In a statement on social media, the Abu Salim Municipality, in Tripoli, said no one was killed or injured in the attack as the schools were empty at the time.
