The Benaki Museum's Pireos Street annex is currently hosting an exhibition put together by Lifo magazine to celebrate the weekly free-press/city guide's 15th anniversary titled "Athenians: The Face of a City." The exhibition comprises more than 200 portraits, taken by distinguished Greek photographers, of people who have collaborated with Lifo over the years.
Refugee camp children receive warm welcome at Nikaia school
Students, parents, teachers and neighbors gathered at the 15th Elementary School of Nikaia near Piraeus on Tuesday to welcome 38 children from a nearby refugee and migrant camp on their first day of classes.

Author Kostis Papagiorgis has died at the age of 67, it was announced on Saturday. He had been suffering from cancer.
