Explosion damages pastry shop in Pangrati

A homemade bomb attack has been reported at a pastry shop in the central Athens neighborhood of Pangrati in the early hours of Friday. 

Around 2.30 a.m., unknown individuals broke the shop's glass window and threw an explosive device inside, causing material damage to the store, which is located on Pyrronos Street. A vehicle parked next to the shop was also damaged.

Small explosive device goes off outside Kypseli apartment block

Police are investigating an attack with a homemade explosive device made of a plastic container and flammable liquid outside an apartment building in the district of Kypseli, central Athens, early Saturday morning.

The device went off at 5.20 a.m. at the entrance of the building located on Patriarchou Ieremia Street, police said.

Turkey’s first Dark Sky Park to open in Bursa

The Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, which has initiated works to become a member of the International Dark Sky Association, will set up Turkey's first Dark Sky Park in the city. Milky Way observation activities, educational activities and sports activities will be organized in the Dark Sky Park, which has only 92 examples in the world.
