Cyprus on an €8 billion growth spree

Cyprus' Association of Large Investment Projects affirmed that the republic is poised for sustained economic growth, with a portfolio of major projects exceeding 8 billion euros.

The association highlighted ongoing and upcoming ventures, emphasizing their contribution to job creation, economic development, and environmental sustainability.

Israeli hotel group expanding presence in Cyprus

New major investment plans in Cyprus are under way by Fattal Hotel Group, the largest hospitality organization in Israel and one of the fastest-growing hotel groups - with 270 units in 117 destinations. It is now further expanding its portfolio in Cyprus. 

The company owns nine hotel units in Paphos, Larnaca, Protaras and Limassol. 

Cruise ship crew with suspicious symptoms taken to Limassol hospital

A crew member on an Italian cruise ship off the coast of Cyprus was taken to hospital after showing suspected symptoms of the coronavirus.

According to the Cyprus News Agency, the Costa Diadema arrived at Limassol port in the early morning hours on Tuesday, where an individual on the cruise liner was transported to Limassol General Hospital.
