Letter of appreciation sent by Turkish FM to presidential candidate İhsanoğlu revealed

It has emerged that Turkey’s Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu sent a letter of appreciation to presidential candidate Ekmeleddin İhsanoğlu, when İhsanoğlu was set to retire as the chief of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC).

Ponta: We shall earmark 50 million lei to flood-affected counties

The Government will earmark 50 million lei for removing the effects of floods in the Gorj, Valcea, Arges, Olt, Teleorman and Prahova counties, Prime Minister Victor Ponta announced on Thursday.

Victor Ponta also added that, if necessary, funds will also be approved for Timis and Caras-Severin counties, after some assessments are carried out first.
