'Ertuğrul Gazi' FSRU vessel now flies Turkish flag
Turkey's first floating LNG storage and gasification vessel (FSRU) "Ertuğrul Gazi" is registered to the Turkish International Ship Registry on March 3.
According to the social media account of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure's General Directorate of Maritime Affairs, Ertuğrul Gazi flew the Turkish flag.

OMV Turkey buys LNG-powered trucks from IVECO
Austrian energy giant OMV has replaced 10 percent of its truck fleet in Turkey with natural gas-powered ones as part of its environment-friendly and sustainable growth approach, the general manager of OMV Turkey has said.

US LNG vessel to arrive in Turkey on Feb 8
U.S. LNG carrier, LNG Abalamabie, is due to arrive in Turkey on Feb. 8, according to ship-tracking data gleaned by Anadolu Agency on Feb. 5.
With a capacity of 170,000 cubic meters, the vessel left the U.S. port of Freeport on Jan. 24 and is currently en route to its next destination, the Aliaga LNG terminal in Izmir.

Bulgaria takes 20% stake in Greek LNG terminal
Bulgaria's state gas company Bulgartransgaz has finalized a deal to take 20% of Greek company Gastrade, which is developing a floating liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility off the city of Alexandroupoli, Gastrade said on Thursday.
The deal is part of Bulgaria's strategy to diversify and to decrease its dependence on Russian gas.

Total inflow to Turkish gas system up 6.38 pct in 2020
Natural gas inflow to Turkey's gas network saw a year-on-year increase of around 6.38 percent to 50 billion cubic meters (bcm) in 2020, according to data from the Turkish Petroleum Pipeline Corporation (BOTAŞ).
In 2019, around 47 bcm of natural gas was carried through the Turkish natural gas system.
