Russian Exporters of Liquefied Gas will deliver to Bulgaria via Georgia
Russian exporters will begin shipping liquefied petroleum gas (LPG or propane-butane) to Bulgaria via the Black Sea port of Poti in Georgia as traditional export routes remain closed, Reuters reports.

Turkish BDY Group acquires Swiss company's LPG terminal in Black Sea
Turkey's BDY Group acquired the Karadeniz LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) terminal located in Giresun on the Black Sea coast, the vice president of the company said on Nov. 19.
Koray Güzelderen said the company views the acquisition as a very significant step in optimizing operations and broadening the company's supply chain in the Black Sea and Eastern Anatolia.
Turkey's LPG imports up 24.03 pct in March
Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports increased by 24.03 percent to 257,764 tonnes in March compared to the same month of 2020, according to the latest data from the country's energy watchdog.
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data showed that Turkey's imports came from the U.S., Algeria, Kazakhstan, Russia, the Bahama Islands and Norway.

Turkey's LPG imports down 21.07 pct in January
Turkey's liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imports decreased by 21.07 percent to 207,225 tonnes in January compared to the same month of 2020, according to the latest data from the country's energy watchdog.
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) data showed that Turkey's imports came from Algeria, the U.S., Kazakhstan, Norway, the Bahama Islands and Russia.

The National Association of Merchants and Carriers of Fuel in Bulgaria announced on 7th of January that the small fuel traders will launch protests entitled "Yellow vests". The reason is the law on the administrative regulation of the trade with petroleum and petroleum products.
Industrial gas being sold widely as motor fuel
Fuel market professionals speak of major smuggling phenomena in the Greek autogas market, estimated to cost the public coffers more than 40 million euros per annum.
They point to the extensive sale of gas destined for industrial use - which is both lower in quality and taxed at a lower rate - being sold at fuel stations as autogas.

Removal of 'Most Dangerous' Gas Tanks Goes on in Bulgaria's Hitrino
The two "most dangerous" gas tanks among the dozen that derailed in the village of Hitrino earlier in December are yet to be defueled and and erected, Bulgaria's outgoing Interior Minister Rumyana Bachvarova has said.
Of four remaining tanks at the site of the blast, two have been prepared for removal, Focus News Agency quotes her as saying.
