TTNET fined for overbilling customers
TTNET, the Internet unit of Turkeyâs main landline operator Türk Telekom, has been fined over 30 million Turkish Liras for overbilling its customers over a seven-year period.
The Information and Communications Technologies Authority (BTK) has ruled that the company must pay 30.47 million liras in administrative fees and repay the overcharged amount within six months.

Lira falls to four-month low due to Iraqi unrest
Turkeyâs lira slipped to its weakest since March 31 on Aug. 8 as investors fled to safe havens unnerved by the prospect of U.S. air strikes in neighboring Iraq, two days ahead of Turkeyâs first direct presidential polls. This was hours before the U.S. hit Iraq targets on Aug. 8.
