Can Smartphone Batteries Explode?

 Battery become an important component in smartphones. However, not infrequently there are cases of smartphone batteries exploding or burning.

According to one gadget observer and youtuber, in general, the batteries used in today's smartphones use lithium ion (Li-ion) materials.

TAB to launch production of lithium-ion cells in Prevalje

Mežica – TAB, the Mežica-based maker of starter batteries for cars and industrial batteries, has founded joint venture TAB-Haidi with an Asian partner to launch production of lithium-ion cells in Prevalje. According to TAB CEO Bogomir Auprih, the launch is expected in the spring of 2022. The project worth about EUR 100 million is to create 300 jobs.

NSI: The Total Producer Price Index in March 2020 Decreased by 1.5%

The Total Producer Price Index in Industry in March 2020 decreased by 2.1% compared to the previous month. Lower prices were registered in the manufacturing by 2.6%, in the mining and quarrying industry and in the electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply - both by 1.0%.
