Four dead as bus and truck collide/PHOTO

The Interior Ministry (MUP) said the crash, that happened around 06:45 CET on Tuesday, involved a truck, and a bus that then caught on fire.

Several more persons have been injured, some seriously, and taken to a hospital in Prokupac, the MUP said.
Both drivers lost their lives, along with two passengers from the bus that burned down, RTS said.

Exhibition about Croat WW2 death camp Jasenovac to open at UN

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic will officially open a Serbian-Jewish exhibition "Jasenovac - the Right Not to Forget."

The Serbian government announced this on Tuesday, adding that the exhibition will be opened on January 25 at the United Nations building in New York City, organized by historians from seven countries.

Tributes paid to victims of bombing of RTS

BELGRADE - Wreaths were laid and candles lit in downtown Belgrade last night at the memorial to the 16 Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) employees killed in a NATO air strike in 1999.

Serbian wounded in Paris attacks still in serious condition

One of the Serbian citizens wounded during the terrorist attacks in Paris last Friday is still in a very serious condition.

Ljiljana Atanaskovic, a native of Kraljevo in central Serbia, was hurt in front of the Stade de France football venue where she and her husband, who was also seriously injured, were selling fan merchandise.

Government vehicles on sale through public bidding

BELGRADE - Vehicles owned by various government bodies and agencies are currently on sale through public bidding at Palata Srbija in Belgrade.

According to head of the property affairs of the Property Directorate Ljiljana Matovic, the sale on Thursday involves 40 vehicles out of the total of 510 that were put up for auction through government decisions from March 14 and 17.

UNS and ACJA commemorate fellow journalists

BELGRADE - President of the Journalists Association of Serbia (UNS) Ljiljana Smajlovic and officials of the All-China Journalists Association (ACJA) laid wreaths on Wednesday at the site of the former Chinese embassy in Belgrade, which was destroyed in NATO's bombing campaign against Yugoslavia in 1999, killing three Chinese journalists.
